CRESSI dive computers are designed for sport-diving and with easiness of use and user-friendliness in mind. They cover broad range of diving scenarios. Whether you dive with Air or doing freediving - it is all within their grasp!

CRESSI was officially founded in 1946 in Genova, Italy, but actually started its operations in 1938, when brothers Egidio and Nanni Cressi started to handcraft the first scuba diving masks and spearfishing guns. And now this is an oldest manufacturer of scuba gear in Europe.

Starting from the beginning of its founding and progressing through out all of these years CRESSI continue the design and manufacture new models of scuba masks, fins, spearfishing guns, and it also brought to our diving community very new products, like regulators, optical masks, BCDs, and wetsuits.


In 2000 we saw CRESSI dive computers that came to our scubadiving market. And now we have following models from this Italian company: Visor, Archimede, Archimede 2, Edy II, Leonardo, and the latest computer for this moment - Giotto.

These models became very popular and wide-used in Europe, thanks to their reliability, easiness of use, and user-friendly features.

Cressi Dive Computers: Technology and Algorithms

dCRESSI dive computers are based on the Buhlmann ZHL-8 and Buhlmann ZHL-12 algorithms.

Archimede 2, Edy II and Leonardo are designed as wrist dive computers. They had been made with the easiness of use in mind with intuitive and easy programmable interface.
They have standard and extensive advanced features that may satisfy every beginner, advanced recreational, or freedivers.

With Cressi dive computers Leonardo and Archimede 2 we may easy make very handy consoles by adding SPG. In this case we will get air-integrated instruments.


With Archimede 2 dive computer you may experiment by setting 2 Nitrox gas mixes for technical diving. Edy II has functions for freediving, like special alarms and Freedive Logbook and History.
Leonardo first of all intuitive computer that is easy to use for both beginners and advanced recreational divers. It has improved user interface, large display and excellent set of safety functions to make any dive pleasurable and without a hassle!

Latest addition at this moment is Giotto dive computer. It was designed and manufactured by Cressi entirely. This instrument is built as a double Nitrox mix device and can handle FO2 settings up to 99%. Other main functions include, but not limited to:

  • 3 dive modes: Air, Nitrox, GAUGE;
  • Deep Stop - ON/OFF;
  • user replaceable battery;
  • graphic CNS oxygen toxicity indicator;
  • Logbook (70 hr or 60 dives) complete with dive profile;
