CRESSI was officially founded in 1946 in Genova, Italy, but actually started its operations in 1938, when brothers Egidio and Nanni Cressi started to handcraft the first scuba diving masks and spearfishing guns. And now this is an oldest manufacturer of scuba gear in Europe. Starting from the beginning of its founding and progressing through out all of these years CRESSI continue the design and manufacture new models of scuba masks, fins, spearfishing guns, and it also brought to our diving community very new products, like regulators, optical masks, BCDs, and wetsuits. In 2000 we saw CRESSI dive computers that came to our scubadiving market. And now we have following models from this Italian company: Visor, Archimede, Archimede 2, Edy II, Leonardo, and the latest computer for this moment - Giotto. These models became very popular and wide-used in Europe, thanks to their reliability, easiness of use, and user-friendly features. Archimede 2, Edy II and Leonardo are designed as wrist dive computers. They had been made with the easiness of use in mind with intuitive and easy programmable interface. With Cressi dive computers Leonardo and Archimede 2 we may easy make very handy consoles by adding SPG. In this case we will get air-integrated instruments. With Archimede 2 dive computer you may experiment by setting 2 Nitrox gas mixes for technical diving. Edy II has functions for freediving, like special alarms and Freedive Logbook and History. Latest addition at this moment is Giotto dive computer. It was designed and manufactured by Cressi entirely.
